Connect a custom domain to your agent website
Agents on Pro and Enterprise can connect a domain they already own to their agent website. It takes a few minutes in AgentBlitz and a few minutes at the registrar; the SSL certificate is issued on its own.

Before you start
You need three things:
- A domain you already own, such as
yourdomain.com, and a login to the registrar or DNS provider that manages it. - An agent website on a Pro or Enterprise plan. Every agent has a site at
yourname.agentblitz.ai; custom domains are the Pro feature. - A published site. Finish the publishing checklist first so the domain has something to show.
The site answers on www.yourdomain.com. The bare domain (yourdomain.com without www) sends visitors there.
The four steps
-
Add the domain in AgentBlitz
In AgentBlitz open My website, then Domain. Enter
www.yourdomain.comand choose it as the primary address. AgentBlitz now shows the exact DNS records to add, and keeps showing them until the domain resolves. -
Add a CNAME record at your registrar
Sign in to the company that manages your domain's DNS (usually where you bought it) and open the DNS settings. Add one record:
Type Host Target TTL CNAMEwwwsites.agentblitz.aiAutomatic If a record for
wwwalready exists (an old A or CNAME record), edit it to this target or remove it first. Two records for the same host will not resolve. -
Point the bare domain at www
Visitors who type
yourdomain.comwithout www should land on the site too. There are two ways, and your DNS provider decides which one you can use:- If your provider supports ALIAS, ANAME or CNAME flattening at the apex (Cloudflare, DNSimple, Namecheap and Porkbun do), add one for
yourdomain.compointing tosites.agentblitz.ai. - Otherwise, set a redirect (domain forwarding) from
yourdomain.comtohttps://www.yourdomain.comat the registrar. Most registrars offer this under forwarding or redirects.
A plain CNAME on the bare domain is not allowed by the DNS standard and most providers reject it; that is what the ALIAS and redirect options are for.
- If your provider supports ALIAS, ANAME or CNAME flattening at the apex (Cloudflare, DNSimple, Namecheap and Porkbun do), add one for
-
Press Check status
Back in AgentBlitz, press Check status. Once the CNAME resolves, the certificate is issued automatically and the site starts answering on
www.yourdomain.com. This usually takes minutes. DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to spread everywhere, so if the check fails, wait and try again rather than changing the records.
The TXT record alternative
When the domain already serves another site, you may want to prove ownership and get the certificate ready before you move the www record. In that case AgentBlitz shows a TXT record to add alongside the CNAME. Add it exactly as shown, press Check status, and switch the www record when you are ready. The TXT record can stay in place afterwards; it does nothing else.
Common problems
- The registrar rejects a CNAME on the apex. That is expected. Use an ALIAS, ANAME or flattened CNAME where the provider offers one, or a redirect from the bare domain to www.
- The domain is behind another CDN or proxy. A proxy at another provider, such as Cloudflare's orange cloud on the www record, must be off (DNS only) so the certificate can be issued and the site is served by AgentBlitz.
- Old A records are still there. Remove any A or AAAA records for
wwwthat point at a previous host. A CNAME cannot coexist with other records on the same host. - The domain is also used for email. That is fine. Only the
wwwrecord and the bare domain's ALIAS or redirect change; MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records stay as they are and email keeps working. - Check status still fails after a day. Look up the
wwwrecord with a public DNS checker: it should show a CNAME tosites.agentblitz.aiand nothing else. If it does and the check still fails, email support with the domain name.
Provider notes
Every provider labels things a little differently. The record is the same everywhere: a CNAME for www to sites.agentblitz.ai.
GoDaddy
Open the domain, then DNS. Add a CNAME with name www and value sites.agentblitz.ai. GoDaddy does not offer ALIAS records, so use Forwarding to send yourdomain.com to https://www.yourdomain.com. If a CNAME for www already exists, edit it rather than adding a second one.
Namecheap
Open Domain List, Manage, then Advanced DNS. Add a CNAME record with host www and value sites.agentblitz.ai. For the bare domain, add an ALIAS record with host @ and the same value, or use the URL Redirect record type to send @ to www. Remove the parking page records Namecheap adds by default.
Squarespace Domains
Open the domain, then DNS settings, then Custom records. Add a CNAME with host www and data sites.agentblitz.ai. Use the domain forwarding option to send the bare domain to www. Domains moved over from Google Domains are managed here now.
Google Workspace DNS
If your domain's DNS is managed through Google Workspace, open the domain's DNS settings, add a CNAME for www to sites.agentblitz.ai, and add a redirect for the bare domain where the provider offers one. Your Workspace email records are separate and do not change.
Cloudflare
Open the zone, then DNS. Add a CNAME for www to sites.agentblitz.ai and set the proxy status to DNS only (grey cloud). For the bare domain, add a CNAME for @ to the same target, also DNS only; Cloudflare flattens it automatically. Leave the proxy off on both records so the certificate can be issued and the site is served by AgentBlitz.
Email and other records are never touched by this guide. If you are unsure which provider manages your DNS, look up the domain's nameservers with any public DNS checker: the nameservers name the provider.
